Job Title: Finance Manager / Finance Controller
Salary: £55,000 to £65,000 per annum

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Manager to lead our company’s financial operations and contribute to our continued growth and stability. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who is skilled in financial management, analysis, and strategic planning. Key Responsibilities:
Invoicing & Credit Control:
* Manage invoicing using payment platforms such as Stripe or HubSpot Payments.
* Monitor accounts receivable and follow up to ensure timely payments.
* Implement effective credit control policies to minimise bad debts.
Monthly Management Accounts:
* Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
* Provide financial insights to support senior management in decision-making.
Cash Flow Management:
* Monitor and optimise daily cash flow.
* Identify risks and propose actionable solutions to improve liquidity.
* Manage inter-account transfers and cash allocations.
* Develop financial models for revenue, expenses, and profitability.
* Support budgeting and strategic planning through detailed projections.
Wages & Payroll Management:
* Oversee payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
* Manage commission statements and ensure tax compliance.
Payment Platform Integration & Automation:
* Use platforms like Stripe and HubSpot for streamlined financial workflows.
* Maintain accurate financial records and identify opportunities for automation.
Compliance & Controls:
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
* Establish effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
* Collaborate with department heads to align financial planning with operational goals.
* Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and banks.
Reporting to Directors:
* Provide detailed financial reports and presentations.
* Support directors with data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA preferred).
* Experience: Proven track record in financial management in a similar role.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
* Platform Expertise: Experience with payment systems such as Stripe and CRM tools like HubSpot.
* Key Attributes: Exceptional analytical abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
