Our client is a globally recognised and award-winning tour operator, offering luxury holidays to Asia and South America.
They are looking to recruit an Administration Assistant who is an enthusiastic and efficient communicator with an eye for detail and excellent organisational and team-working skills.
The role will primarily support the reservations team. The ideal candidate will be versatile enough to maintain an effective communication channel between customers, agents, and the team, along with assisting with writing up quotes, final documents, and general administration duties.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for monitoring and management of post sales enquiries
2. Arranging write-ups of itineraries for the Tailor-Made department
3. Corresponding via email daily
4. Loading and checking passenger data with great accuracy
5. Communicating with internal and external partners
6. Generating invoices
7. Conducting conversations with customers via our Live Chat function
8. Reporting for the team and BDM’s
9. Additional duties; Support to the Groups department
Key Skills/Experience Needed:
1. Outstanding telephone manner
2. Motivated and proactive individual with a strong team ethic
3. Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
4. Eye for detail, excellent time-management, and organisational skills that will enable efficient multi-tasking and prioritisation
5. Work well with a dynamic team
6. Ability to manage workload under pressure, prioritise, follow up, and ensure all tasks are performed on time
7. Proven written skills, including the ability to accurately proof and develop customer literature
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
9. Confident in supporting a busy team
10. Ability to be creative and think outside the box
11. Make improvements and changes in processes
