Job Description
3. Oversee the quality of materials from suppliers and verify their compliance with company standards.
4. Develop and implement supplier quality procedures and criteria.
5. Coordinate with suppliers to address any quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
6. Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular supplier audits.
7. Collaborate with the engineering and manufacturing teams to identify and solve quality issues.
8. Participate in the selection of new suppliers and contribute to supplier development initiatives.
9. Support continuous improvement efforts in the quality department.
10. Maintain accurate records of supplier quality data and prepare regular reports.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Supplier Quality Engineer should have:
11. A degree in Engineering or a related field.
12. Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
13. Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and supplier quality management.
14. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on data.
15. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
