The Role
As an Ecological Contractor within ourHabitats division, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality ecological and habitat management works across a range of sectors and sites. This is a physically demanding, outdoor role that requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
Responsibilities:
* Support the team in delivering works on time and to specification.
* Uphold excellent health & safety and quality standards on-site.
* Operate and maintain machinery (experience advantageous, training provided).
* Adapt to working on various projects and environments across the UK.
Skills and qualifications:
Essential:
* Well-rounded practical experience in an outdoor environment
* Clean UK driving licence
* CSCS Card (We will aid the right candidate in getting this before starting employment with us)
Desirable:
* Brush-cutter experience
* CS38 NPTC aerial rescue
* Chainsaw CS30/31 (or current NPTC equivalent)
* Trailer towing experience
* PA1 & PA6 herbicide application
* Wood-chipper ticket
* Excavator / Agricultural tractor / miniloader competencies
NB Applicants with NPTC aerial rescue training will be at an advantage as this is a current requirement within our team.
