We would like to invite applications for the role of Lead Product Development Scientist X 2 located at our Larne site. This is a Perm position and a 12 Month FTC.
We are searching for a PhD Graduate who wishes to develop their experience and career in a global pharmaceutical company. You will be working as a part of the team planning and executing studies to develop Teva drug products. This role also involves working as part of a team of highly experienced scientists and would give right candidate the opportunity to improve patients’ lives. A Day in the Life of our Lead Product Development Scientist
1. Plan and participate in all aspects of research and development (including quality, safety and financial aspects) from feasibility to commercial manufacture.
2. Plan and develop novel initiatives to produce successful formulations for various drug product dosage forms and for drug / device combination products, including interpretation of experimental data.
3. Plan and execute formulation activities associated with assigned projects in line with corporate goals and local KPIs.
4. Troubleshoot development issues.
5. Develop plans and reports which manage and describe the product formulation and process development process in line with local procedures and ICH guidance.
6. Participate in risk assessments during the planning phase of projects in order to maximize prior knowledge utilization.
7. Work with relevant groups to understand the important characteristics associated with drug substances, drug products, devices and manufacturing processes.
8. Provide support to the department to ensure efficient systems and procedures.
9. Participate in laboratory, process development, process scale-up and validation (both equipment and process validation) studies
10. Coordinate physical testing to evaluate product characteristics.

Are you….
12. Educated to PhD Level in - Pharmacy, Chemistry or closely related subject.
Do you have?
13. Experience in statistical experimental design and statistical interpretation of data
14. Sound knowledge of chemistry
15. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, communication skills
16. High levels of motivation with the ability to work largely unsupervised.
17. Proven ability to maintain high standards of work, attention to detail and right first time approach..
18. Demonstrable team work and interpersonal skills.
19. Have a flexible approach to changing priorities and be able to adjust working hours as necessary.
