An exciting opportunity has arisen in our all age Liaison Mental Health Service in Tameside.
We are looking for a dynamic Team Lead with operational experience to work with the Service Manager and Clinical Leads in delivering the operational processes and supporting the Liaison Mental Health team.
The Team is based in Springhill Building on the Tameside General Hospital Site.
This is an exciting role for an individual who has proven team leadership experience and a genuine desire to influence and lead a dynamic team and help with service development within the emergency and urgent care mental health pathway.
The Liaison Mental Health Service in Tameside offers an All Age Liaison Mental health support to the Emergency Department and General Hospital Wards using the CORE 24 model.
The Liaison Mental Health service offers a comprehensive range of mental health specialities within one multi-disciplinary team so that all patients with a suspected or actual mental health problem within the general hospital can be assessed, treated, signposted and referred appropriately regardless of age, presenting complaint, time of presentation or severity of condition. The service puts an emphasis on diversion and discharge from the emergency department and the facilitation of early and effective discharge from the acute hospital site.
