Job summary An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen within the Women's and Children's Division for a Rota Coordinator to work as part of the Obstetrics & Gynaecology team. We are a strong, proactive Directorate who welcome innovation and adaptability within the service. This is a full-time position, with the requirement to work 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Applicants may be required to provide cross site cover. We also offer some flexibility with home working for a limited number of days per week once fully trained. Being part of a busy department, you'll need a 'can do' attitude and be able to prioritise your own workload on a day-to-day basis. Excellent IT and communication skills are essential as well as being forward thinking with the ability to build solid working relationships with a range of colleagues (e.g. clinical, administrative and management); knowing when to escalate issues as required. Main duties of the job The Rota Coordinator is an essential member of the Womens & Children Divisional Admin Team. This role oversees all medical rotas across the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Directorates within the Division to ensure the safe and efficient running of extremely busy and complex clinical services (both inpatients and outpatients).
