Job Title: Primary School Teacher - Residential Setting

Role:
- We are seeking a qualified Primary School Teacher to join an Outstanding Ofsted-rated residential primary school in Chigwell.
- The school caters to children aged 5-11 years, all of whom have educational statements for social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH).
- The students are currently all boys and reside at the school Monday to Friday during term time.
- The school prides itself on its family-oriented environment and offers a supportive setting where children are grouped into 'houses' based on their social needs and abilities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Graduate Teaching Status (GTS).
- Strong understanding of the KS1/KS2 national curriculum.
- Experience or interest in working with special educational needs (SEND) and SEMH.
- Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with pupils and staff.
- Commitment to professional development and willingness to undergo relevant training.
- Good physical health and ability to manage stress effectively.
- Previous experience working in SEND or SEMH settings is not essential, as applicants from mainstream schools will also be considered.
Working Hours: This is a full-time, long-term role. The required working hours are:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
- Friday: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
