R_290026 - Insurance Operations Support Manager / Coordinator - Construction
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations Team at Marsh Construction Specialty. This role will be based in London, Birmingham or Norwich. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office, one of which will in the London office (transport costs covered if from Birmingham or Norwich).
This role will provide insurance administrative and project support to the Operations Team within Construction Specialty. The Operations Team support in terms of workflow management, supporting the transition of workflow to Technical Processing and Fiduciary teams, governance and compliance and operational projects.
We will count on you to:
* Be a part of numerous and varied operations projects across the Construction Specialty team by supporting the Operations Leader and COO with assignments and initiatives
* Support the chasing the resolution of aged queries raised by the processing team in Mumbai, which requires engagement with Broker Support and Client Managers to understand case status.
* Analyse and review workflow reports to identify processing delays / issues
* Provide support with workflow reporting issued to the practice
* Assist with the maintenance of the operations SharePoint site
* Attend weekly team meetings, contributing to updates and ideas and writing minutes.
* Remind and directly support managers to ensure completion of timely requests while onboarding colleagues and deprovisioning leavers; includes management and approval of lockers and software applications created by managers using self-service forms.
* Monitor and follow-up with colleagues who have not completed mandatory training records in a timely manner
* Liaise with Fiduciary on behalf of Construction colleagues, regarding delayed payments and ensure Notices of Cancellations are impeded.
* Support with operational training requirements.
What you need to have:
* Insurance knowledge with an understanding of Lloyds of London processes and procedures
* Working with Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Marsh Systems desirable (e.g. Fusion)
* Use of Excel spreadsheets, use of basic formulas and pivot tables
* Strong written and verbal communication skills essential, to ensure engagement with colleagues regardless of location.

* Preferably an understanding of Marsh end-to end-workflow in Marsh Specialty desirable, including working knowledge of Marsh document management and processing systems, to support review of case status.
