About the Role:
As a Multi Skilled Operative, you will be working alongside Havering Council within our social housing background, providing a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community.
A Multi Skilled Operative within our Rainham branch will support residents with reactive repairs across our portfolio of properties, working on a planned route. You will be part of a local team undertaking high standard Multi Trade repairs and refurbishment activities to housing properties, delivering best in class customer service while satisfying all safety, quality, and cost control standards. You will have a certified core trade and, in addition, can deliver extra trade activities to complete repair/refurbishment works on time and to a high standard in accordance with agreed standard operating procedures. You will take ownership in undertaking construction, fault finding, and maintenance repairs aiming for first-time completion while remaining within budget and time parameters.
Role Criteria:
* Experience in Plumbing, Carpentry, Tiling, Plastering, Floor Laying, and Painting & Decorating
* Experience in building maintenance.
* Experience within social housing.
* Good Customer Service Skills.
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21, have held your licence for over 3 months, and have less than 9 points.
