We are seeking a skilled Technician to assemble, test, and rework high-complexity electromechanical radar systems for maritime applications. This hands-on role is crucial to ensuring the highest quality standards in the production of advanced marine navigation products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble, test, and rework electromechanical radar equipment to precise standards
* Work with engineering drawings, schematics, and detailed procedures
* Perform soldering, wiring, crimping, drilling, and PCB rework
* Assemble wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and connectors (IPC/WHMA-A-620)
* Inspect and troubleshoot products to ensure quality compliance
* Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process improvements
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety standards
Requirements:
* 2+ years’ experience in engineering or manufacturing
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Knowledge of radar systems or cellular manufacturing (advantageous)
* Must be able to pass security clearance (5 years UK address History, Right to work, 3 years consistent employment references (to the present date)
