Working pattern: Term time plus inset days (39 weeks)
Actual starting salary (calculated pro rata): £24,660 per annum
Salaries are paid in 12 equal monthly instalments
The Burgess Hill Academy is looking to recruit a Pastoral Inclusion Lead to join our friendly and enthusiastic pastoral team. The pastoral team provide support to students to overcome any barriers to their learning.
Your role will involve:
1. Providing a high level of support to students and staff in all matters linked to pupil wellbeing, behaviour and attendance
2. Supervising students who are sent to the reflection room, ensuring their safety and well-being
3. Providing support to a specific cohort of challenging students regarding behaviour as well as child protection and safeguarding
4. Undertaking administrative work that supports the pastoral case of students
