Job summary An opportunity has arisen for an assistant to join our pharmacy stores and procurement team responsible for the purchasing of medicines for the Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The procurement team mange the ordering of over £20 million worth of medicines each year. We are looking for someone with the right skills and attention to detail who is an excellent team player, hardworking and enthusiastic to participate in and support the provision of our services. Main duties of the job A good general understanding of IT systems is essential as the majority of our ordering and stock management systems are electronic. You will also be expected to be able to update excel spreadsheets and competently interact with other Microsoft applications. You will be contributing to the maintenance of a good stock control system within the Pharmacy department, as well as participating in the provision of a high standard of service within the Pharmacy Stores, Procurement and Distribution department.
