On more complex assignments, they will work with oversight and support from senior colleagues. They will also collaborate with other members of the team to ensure high quality valuations are delivered to clients and drive operational efficiency. This role will work primarily within the Commercial Regular valuation team carrying out valuations for institutions and REITS for financial reporting. Key Responsibilities - Conduct valuation and advisory work, alongside senior members of the team, for loan security, accounting, fund reporting and investment purposes. - Conduct physical property inspections and assist senior valuers in other, more complex inspections. - Collaborate with members of the team on the valuation process - Manage opportunity records up to execution - Identify and incorporate relevant data and technical reports into property due diligence and review changes to valuation data - Select appropriate comparables, performing analysis, and drawing conclusions. - Perform valuation modelling (including DCF modelling), calculations and analysis and support for senior valuers on more complex valuations. Set up properties, units and tenants when required. - Preparation of reports. - Close liaison with clients ensuring high quality advice is consistently delivered. - Support senior members of the team with business development, RFPs and pitch activities. - QRM compliance. - Gather and share relevant market intelligence and support senior members of the team with other value-add tasks. - Work flexibly across sectors and services within the Division and support other Divisions as and when required. Person Specification/Requirements - Bachelor's degree or higher in Real Estate, Surveying, or a related field. - MRICS qualified or equivalent - Knowledge of property valuation methodologies and techniques - Proficiency in using valuation software and tools, such as Argus Enterprise & Developer and Excel - Basic understanding of property market trends and factors influencing property values - Basic knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in property valuation - Willingness to learn and develop professional skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team and support senior valuers, but is also able to operate autonomously in an efficient and productive manner - Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling the development of good relationships with both clients and colleagues - Good analytical skills with high attention to detail - Enjoys working under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment, - Ability to prioritise and coordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met - Valid UK driving licence.
