Practice Nurse - Hope Haven Clinical Team
We are delighted to be partnering with other health and social care providers in the new initiative HOPE HAVEN at Whitehaven.
We are looking for a Practice Nurse to cover 1 clinic per week (4 hrs Health education session).
Hope Haven will be open 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week, providing services under one roof to transform the way mental health care is provided locally. Hope Haven will bring together specialist health, social care, and community services to support Mental Health and Wellbeing in the community.
The aim is to launch this service on a mobile basis as soon as possible.
We are looking for compassionate individuals with a desire to make a difference in the lives of individuals suffering from mental health and wellbeing needs. Knowledge and understanding of MH presentations are important, along with flexibility and enhanced communication skills to work across different organisations, as part of the new initiative and MDT.
These posts will be offered on a fixed-term contract until March 2026, with hope of further extension past this date.
Should you like to explore additional hours, we also have hours available in some of our other inequality work such as Asylum clinics and Senhouse Health Matters. Some of these clinics will be held from alternative sites across the Copeland area.

Main Duties of the Job
The post holder will deliver Health Education to the local population. They will provide high-quality evidence-based care to meet the health and social needs of the population, working within the boundaries set out by the regulated standards, and working collaboratively with the team.
