Your new role
* We are looking for a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Developer to join our team!
* This position is responsible for supporting our Manufacturing, Quality, and Facilities departments to:
* Design and build electronic batch records, logs, and forms.
* Support change management and training in the new ways of working.
* Map data flows and help design the ‘to be’ process and recipe requirements/specifications.
* Build, test, and validate the processes/systems in the MES, alongside Manufacturing, Quality, and Facilities colleagues.
* Partner with supplier developers to set up master data and a library of unit processes.
* Work with the eBR Implementation Lead to establish Roslin ways of working and SOPs specific to the MES.
* Be the system owner for the MES, accountable for maintenance and change management and training system users.
About you
* At least one year’s experience in GMP Manufacturing, preferably in the Cell and Gene therapy industry.
* You will have the ability to work collaboratively with other departments and demonstrate good communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels of the business.
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work both autonomously and with others, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* A logical/mathematical approach to work with good problem-solving skills.
* Experience in business process mapping, basic coding skills, and computer system validation.
* Demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal, and self-motivational skills.
* Report writing/recording output.
* Excellent computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Excellent administration and record keeping skills.
* Operational experience of aseptic manufacturing is preferable.
Qualifications
* A degree in a relevant technology discipline.
