This role will be working within NHS Lothian Estates Department. The objective of the Estates Department is to operate and maintain a physical environment in which healthcare can be delivered efficiently and safely to support patient care. The main elements being the maintenance of both building fabric and services, e.g. external and internal finishes, fittings and fixtures, plumbing, electrical and mechanical services, piped medical gases etc. We are recruiting to these posts based on your potential to contribute to our high-quality patient care as well as a demonstration of personal values aligned to those of our organisation: NHS Lothian Values To be considered for the Modern Apprenticeship programme, candidates must: be between 16 – 24yrs of age hold a National 5 or above in English and Mathematics and one in Engineering or a Science (preferably Physics).
