Your Role This role is responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, investigation, examination and conditioning of Telecommunication and Optical equipment and associated sub-assemblies held at KNGD Donnington. Using approved data to maintain the stock. Your Responsibilities - Establish and understanding of Risk Assessments and Risk Controls including understanding how to identify risks. - Comply with all instructed Safe Working Practices including the reporting of all accidents and incidents within the workplace. - Actively participate and input into WIs/SOPs and process confirmations, assisting with the identification of necessary amendments, updates and rewrites as required - Be a Champion for Delivery of Service at all times. - Ensure all work is completed in accordance with the latest approved data - Responsible for ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with approved data - Ensure you work within current approved data, policies, processes, procedures and management guidance. - Work with others to ensure required outcomes are achieved Your Skills and Experiences - Level 3 Electrical Engineering Qualification/Apprenticeship or equivalent. - Experience of working on MOD items/equipment (desired) - IMS experience - Ability to influence, negotiate and deal with conflict successfully - Ability to work individually or as part of a team. - Leadership qualities including the ability to enthuse and motivate. - Drive, determination, and a track record in delivering continuous improvement. - Analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good Communication skills - Strong organisation skills - Ability to achieve a high level of accuracy. - Attention to detail. - Excellent interpersonal skills - Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends as/when required.
