Job summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Ward/Department Activity and Housekeeping Coordinator to join our team. The purpose of this role is to coordinate all facilities services in collaboration with the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our patients.
Your efforts will directly support the provision of high-quality patient care through personal actions and a commitment to continuous improvement. Knowledge & Skill Requirements
Essential
1. Basic Literacy and numeracy skills
2. A knowledge and Willing to develop basic skills and competencies relevant to the role
3. Able to work well within a team and individually
4. Effective communication which may require some tact and persuasion within a group and on a one to one basis
5. The ability to work calmly and efficiently when under pressure
6. Able to relate to all grades of staff taking directions from superiors
7. Ability to cope with occasional exposure to aggressive behaviour
8. Ability to deal calmly with patients with distressed or anxious behaviour
9. Good verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications

10. Good standard of general education including GCSE's.

11. Training relevant to therapeutic activity related courses

12. Willingness to attend mandatory SFH trust training
13. Identify own learning needs
