About the role
You will join our procurement team supporting our operational offshore wind farms.
* Gain valuable knowledge and experience of
o the wide range of procurement activities across the whole procurement cycle from finding suitable suppliers to supporting in contract review meetings
o analysing and evaluating tender documents to create price comparisons
o assisting in preparing contracts with suppliers
* Actively support the team e.g. with
o carrying out market research to identify suitable suppliers and prequalifying them via our online prequalification system
o building Request For Information and Requests For Quotations within our internal e-Tendering tool
o analysing and evaluating tender submissions and preparing contracts
o organising internal and external meetings
Job requirements and experience
* You’re an enrolled student in one of the following degree courses: Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Law, Engineering or similar
* Your degree course is eligible for a year in industry placement
* You are on track to graduate with a 2.1 or higher
* You have very good verbal and written communication skills as well as good IT skills
* You’re able to coordinate your own workload and meet tight deadlines
* You’re comfortable working in a diverse team environment and dealing with a range of stakeholders
* You’re open to travel to other sites. Travel expenses will be covered by us
