An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Receptionist on our Children's Medical Day Case Unit. Children's Medical Day Case Unit recently opened in summer 2023 and is made up of 6 day case chairs providing medical day case procedures to a wide range of medical specialties; including but not limited to General Medicine, Respiratory, Gastroenterology, Allergy and multiple more. Applicants must have office and reception based experience, as well as a good telephone manner and keyboard skills. They must be able to work using their own initiative and be able to communicate with patients, visitors and all levels of staff in a clear and accurate way. The main duties of the role are to support the ward team and provide reception and administrative cover. To be responsible for providing clerical support during admission, transfer and discharge of patients. This role also includes supporting the ward team by ordering and stocking up essential equipment and paperwork.
