Job description
The Technology Risk Consulting team is focused on providing consultancy, advice and assurance on our clients' technology risks and controls. The market is evolving at pace and innovating, whilst embracing the digital age. We are building out our team to advise clients on emerging and legacy technology risks and controls. We are focused on project and programme risk, operational and technology resilience, technology risk and control, impact of regulatory change on data and technology and third-party risk management. All underpinned by analytics. We deliver our work through consulting projects, focused on risk and control assurance, as well as projects with 2nd and 3rd lines of defence.
Responsibilities:
1. Work with the TPRM team to deliver consulting services to clients in the Financial Services and other sectors
2. Work to support our Technology Risk service leads in ensuring a consistent, high quality approach to service delivery, minimise risk to KPMG and build client relationships.
3. Have a strong network of contacts, actively maintained, who are potential buyers of Tech Risk services..
4. Support the development and delivery of target strategies in for Tech Risk services.
5. Coach and develop more junior team members on engagements.
6. Contribute to practice management, training, proposition development, and knowledge management.
7. Contribute to proposals and Client RFPs, including structuring the response document, completing KPMG's risk procedures, and organising a delivery team.
8. Work with our team in advising clients on improving their TPRM process, operating model and technology, and work with them to implement the recommendations
9. Communicate compelling and well thought out solutions to complex problems
10. Build constructive working relationships across different teams, functions, countries, or cultures
Work as part of the wider team and with other departments to further develop and mature KPMG's TPRM offering

Qualifications and Skills
16. Understanding of TPRM and experience of developing and/or implementing TPRM programs
17. Knowledge and understanding of applying risk management principles and processes proportionate to client's organisation structure and operating model
18. Ability to manage a diverse set of stakeholders across business
19. Good communication skills (verbal and written) for client presentations, report writing, and project management
20. Project management experience across a wide variety of client projects
21. Good analytical skills and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
22. Ability to spot opportunities to add value to clients and work with colleagues in other lines of service to help clients
23. Experience of working in a Compliance or Risk Management function is preferred
24. Knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements and expectations on TPRM and related risks in UK and Europe is preferred
25. Degree/Masters qualification is preferred
