Sandhills Primary Care Network, (PCN), are looking to recruit a confident PCN assistant manager, with previous primary care experience, to join their established team. This position is offered on a part-time basis for 20 hours per week, working the following days and hours; Monday to Thursday 18:30-20:00. Monday to Thursday, 5.5 hours during the hours of 9.00-16:00. Saturday 08.45-17:15. The main responsibilities include: Assisting the practice manager with the day-to-day running of the surgery, including staff management, to ensure the best quality care for the PCN patients and staff. Managing the booking of staff and rotas. Assisting with payroll, pensions and finance administration, in the absence of the practice manager. Tracking payments and expenditure. First point of contact for ARRS staff for appointment rotas. Attending meetings, preparing agendas, minutes and distribution of these. Collating business data to support transformation and improvement initiatives. Please see job description for further information. Previous managerial experience is required. Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including Maths and English (C or above). Excellent communication skills. About Us Sandhills PCN is a small PCN with a patient list size of circa 31,000 patients. We have a significant workforce in place which brings wonderful opportunities for in-house multi-disciplinary team working. We have a well-developed multidisciplinary team including a pharmacy team, first contact physiotherapists, personalised care roles, advanced nurse practitioner and a paramedic. This is in additional to the extensive practice team we work alongside. Both practices are GP training practices and have experience of supporting GP trainees.
