Our client, a fast-growing energy supplier, is looking for a TPI Relationship Manager to join their team. In this role, you’ll manage a select group of TPIs/brokers to drive business growth, meet sales targets and maximise value for new and existing customers. The focus will be on developing long-term relationships, improving processes, and growing the B2B energy portfolio by delivering volume, margin and meters. To be successful in this role you’ll need at least 2 years of B2B energy sales account management experience - experience within a TPI framework is a plus but not essential. 1. Overall performance for your TPI’s covering Acquisitions, Renewals and New Connections
2. Accountability of Sales retention for your TPI’s
3. Plan with TPI’s to understand their routes to market to progress value/volume
4. Adhere to agreed service level agreements for the pricing and servicing of TPI contracts
5. Utilise your experience and relationships in this market to grow the business
6. Be the “go to person” for all TPI enquiries - objections, servicing queries, commission etc
7. Gain an in-depth knowledge into your TPI’s, their wants, needs and how they work
8. Price TPI tenders selectively, where required to win larger business
9. Negotiating contracts taking them through the journey to agreed and signed
10. Performance manage all TPI’s with an expectancy of growth
Skills and experience required:
11. Minimum 2 years’ experience in B2B energy sales account management
12. Experience from either energy supplier or energy broker
13. Confident communicator who excels at building relationships
14. Ambitious and career-driven
