Reporting to the Procurement Manager the successful candidate will be a key member of the Procurement Team, raising purchase orders, engaging with 3rd party Supply Chain, document storage, data integrity analysis, data cleansing and any other duties as and when required in order to provide an efficient and responsive service in a demanding but rewarding team environment. Assist in preparation and analysis of tender enquiry packages. Be able to astutely analyse large amounts of data, generate reports and communicate information to the business to drive continuous improvements, provide best value, and share knowledge across the business functions regarding procurement best practice and strategies Raise Purchase orders for material, subcontract works and hire requests. Liaise with Supply Chain regarding expediting Purchase orders. Assist with Data cleansing and the maintenance of Procurement data. Assist with generating and issuing reports. Assist with document storage. Send out enquiries for pricing ensuring best value with no compromise on quality. Support the implementation of ISO20400: Sustainable Procurement, ensuring purchasing decisions reflect the sustainable procurement objectives, set out in the procurement policy and strategy. Support the implementation of ISO20400: Sustainable Procurement, ensuring procurement practices align with environmental, social and economic sustainability considerations. Review processes used and pro-actively put forward suggestions to improve efficiency, data capture and reduce administration Any other administrative duties as and when required to support the Procurement team. About You Essential Criteria Minimum of 3-5 years Procurement experience in a similar role / environment. Strong communicator with good numerical skills. Proven ability to work within a team environment to strict deadlines Competent IT Skills eg. Microsoft Office Package Previous experience of using document storage solutions. Experience of using Purchasing / Procurement / Supply Chain Management systems. Experience of preparing and analysing tender packages. Desirable Criteria Experience in either Construction or Facilities Management sector.
