Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee the design and analysis of structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and project managers. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers. Conduct site inspections and surveys, providing expert advice on site conditions and structural integrity. Prepare and review engineering calculations, reports, and drawings. Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources. Ensure the highest standards of health and safety in all projects. Requirements: Chartered status with a relevant professional body (e.g., ICE, IStructE) or nearing chartership Proven experience in structural engineering, ideally in both design and site-based roles. Strong verbal and written communication Excellent teamwork and interpersonal abilities Full UK driving licence Experience designing reinforced concrete, steelwork, masonry and timber Experience of site supervision Benefits: Competitive salary, ranging from £45,000 to £65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
