Main duties of the job
We are looking for a bladder and bowel nurse associate, to work as a member of the bladder and bowel service, under the direction of the clinical team lead, providing effective holistic nursing care to patients in community settings including community clinics.
You will promote good bladder/bowel care and provide clinical assessment and treatment of patients with bladder and/or bowel dysfunction including catheterised patients.
To maintain core clinical skills in order to support community nursing with its care delivery.

Qualifications
* Foundation degree in health and social care OR Nursing Associate qualification
* Care Certificate
Experience
* Previous experience in health or social care setting
* Previous experience in health in a community setting
* Evidence of catheter care/management
* Bladder and bowel care management
* Employed currently in bladder and bowel service
Special knowledge / expertise
* Standard IT skills including word processing and use of internet
* Knowledge of health and safety and principles of risk assessment.
* Be able to understand and plan a range of delegated clinical duties
