Your RoleMain Purpose of the Job
ToDeliver New Business Revenue and Profit from within a specifiedgeographical territory and/or target sector in line with the GroupSales & Marketing Strategy. To account develop specificnominated existing customers with a view to cross sell and up sellservices where appropriate which in turn will deliver additionalBusiness Revenue and Profit from those customers in line with theGroup Sales & Marketing Strategy. To achieve all agreedtargets in line with the Group Budget and Sales Activity plans. Topromote the NSS brand to all customers competitors and staffalike.
Your jobwill include:
* Selfgenerate appropriate levels ofactivity on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to ensureachievement ofactivity and New Business sales targets paying particular attentiontopersonal ratios regardingappointment/quote/order.
* Delivery of the salesplan as agreed with the Group Commercial Director to identifytargetand acquire new business across the Geography/Sector ofresponsibility.
* Devise and agree with the GroupCommercial Director a strategic account development &salesplan to identify target and acquire additional business from thenominatedcustomer(s)
* Working upon owninitiative completing bids & tender responses withassistance of theSales Support to support the customer in itsgrowth plans
* Deliver and where possible exceedresults in line with agreed budgets andstrategies
* Identify key players within thecustomer organisation and support operations inunderstanding howeach relationship works and who reports towhom
* To work in a collaborative manner whilesupporting operational colleagues who areresponsible for deliveringthe service to the nominated account to ensure that keyrelationships are used effectively to leverage additional businessfrom the account
* Prepare and deliver quotationsand proposals accurately and on time and in line withcompanyadministrative and operations procedures constantly seeking toimprove onprevious versions to ensure NSS stays at the forefront ofthe marketplace
* Using CRM system report on allaspects of individual sales and account developmentactivity in atimely and accurate manner paying particular attention to activityreportsprospects and pipelines as agreed from time totime
* Promote best practice in sales delivery inall propositions and working practices. Ensure thatcontinuousimprovement forms part of every day and that NSS is seen as acompany at theforefront of innovation
* Assistwith developing the NSS brand within the industry and widermarketplace so that itbecomes synonymous with Safety Quality& Excellence
* To present managementinformation to major customers and to support Operations inmanagingcustomer requirements andexpectations
Requirementsof the role:
* A Levelcalibre with very good verbal and written presentationskills
* Sales and/or Account Developmentexperience essential with the ability to understand largecomplex FMor Property Management companies and to create account plans todeliver growth
* Experience in the FacilityServices industry
* Experience within otherservice sectors or the knowledge of selling complex servicesolutions
* Intermediate computer skills(Microsoft Office packages)
* Commercialawareness profit focused and capable of engineering solutions tocomplexproblems working at multilevels within customerorganisations
* Resilient and persistent able toestablish a credible profile with Customers and withinNSS
* Profit and resultsdriven
* Able to develop solid relationships andwork with operational colleagues to ensure clarity ofcustomerexpectations throughout NSS
