Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Administrator, based in Chorley. The Purchasing Administrator will handle day-to-day tasks such as managing procurement activities, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining accurate purchase records. Responsibilities also include coordinating with various departments to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing, monitoring inventory levels, and managing the supplier database to ensure compliance and quality standards.
Qualifications
* Skills in Procurement, Negotiation, and Inventory Management
* Experience in Vendor Relations and Supplier Management
* Proficiency in Record Keeping, Purchase Order Management, and Compliance Monitoring
* Strong Communication and Organizational Skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience with ERP systems is beneficial
* CIPS, Supply Chain Management, or a similar qualification preferred but not essential.
