Salary up to £40,000
Due to business growth, this client is now looking to hire an experienced Bookkeeper to manage a portfolio of varied, high net worth clients. This will be an interesting and full bookkeeping role which will offer the opportunity to deal with clients directly, advising on payroll, VAT, and ad-hoc financial queries.

Role Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of limited company, sole trader, and partnership clients from a diverse range of industry sectors.
* Completing full bookkeeping for all clients.
* Ensure general bookkeeping is completed in a timely manner.
* Monthly reporting.
* Bank reconciliations, sales and purchase ledger.
* Preparing and submitting VAT and CIS returns, dealing with HMRC queries.
* Liaising with clients directly to answer financial queries.
Person Responsibilities:
* At least 3+ years’ experience gained as a Bookkeeper/Senior Accounts Assistant within a UK based accountancy practice.
* AAT qualified would be ideal but latter stages of AAT or candidates who are qualified by experience will also be considered.
* Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise directly with clients.
