We are looking for a dynamic Solution Design Engineer to play a key role in supporting the growth of the UK market for a global leader in automation technology. Working on multi-million-pound projects, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with experts across Europe, contribute to high-impact solutions, and drive forward some of the most advanced automation systems in the industry.
What You’ll Do:
* Develop innovative concepts, tenders, and offer layouts for complex automation solutions.
* Analyse customer data to create tailored automation solutions, including AS/RS systems for pallets and totes, and other technology.
* Act as a technical guidance expert for project managers and technicians, ensuring the seamless execution of projects.
* Maintain project cost calculations and documentations, while ensuring high standards of quality.
* Lead and participate in customer presentations, showcasing your technical solutions and their impact.
* Be an integral part of the System Integration process, with business travel of up to 50 days per year to meet customer needs across the UK and Europe.
What We’re Looking For:
* 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role within the automation industry
* Strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset, with a passion for tackling complex challenges.
* Proficiency in CAD systems and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* A proactive, self-driven, and curious individual ready to learn and grow within a high-performance team.
