Purpose of the role
Reporting to the Head of Group FP&A, the FP&A Systems Manager will manage and develop the company’s recently implemented consolidation, planning and reporting EPM system (CCH Tagetik), alongside an existing FP&A Systems Manager. Working in collaboration with the finance, IT and systems development teams, the focus will be primarily to deliver ongoing development of forecasts and budgets, support analysis of data, help maintain live systems and ensure business needs are met. You will work in conjunction with the BI team to deliver reports and dashboards to drive data driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
EPM Management:
* Oversee the administration and maintenance of Tagetik, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
* Implement enhancements and upgrades to meet evolving business requirements.
* Ensure compliance with security access controls and change management procedures, in compliance with SOX requirements and Company policies.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tagetik.
Integration & Data Management:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Tagetik with other financial systems and tools.
* Ensure accurate and seamless data flow between Tagetik and other business applications.
Reporting & Analysis:
* Create and present reports and dashboards to stakeholders to communicate insights and inform decision-making.
Collaboration:
* Collaborate with finance and IT teams to align system capabilities with business needs.
* Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders of all levels throughout finance to understand and support their financial systems & reporting requirements.
* Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance overall financial system efficiency.
User Training & Support:
* Develop and deliver training programs for users to maximize their proficiency in utilising Tagetik.
* Provide ongoing support to users, addressing inquiries and assisting with problem resolution.
* Develop and manage technical documentation.
Technical Expertise:
* Develop a strong technical understanding of Tagetik, including advanced formula writing, dimensionality, and reporting capabilities.
* Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in FP&A and EPM systems.
Knowledge, skills and experience required
* Previous experience of designing, implementing and maintaining a Tagetik system
* Finance & accounting knowledge, with experience in financial planning activities and consolidation activities desirable.
* Expertise in implementing financial systems, project management, and process improvement methodologies.
* SQL experience.
* Highly numerate and analytical with a strong data analysis and problem-solving skillset and the ability to produce complex reports.
* High-energy, adaptive, collaborative and responsive work style.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex and dynamic work environment with poise and professionalism.
* Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Experience working in large companies with complex financial systems environments is preferred.
* Highly motivated, self-starter with a positive attitude and a passion delivering improvements resulting in clear business value
* Technical writing and documentation skills
