Leading manufacturing are looking to recruit an AAT Qualified Accountant to join their fast-growing Accounts Department. Reporting to an ex-Big 4 Finance Director will provide the successful candidate with a great stepping stone to develop their career and pursue further qualifications.
Duties will include:
* Responsible for the accounts function for the business
* Production of month management accounts
* Cash flow forecasting
* VAT preparation - important to note that the VAT has big implications due to the different countries they trade with - some are VAT exempt, others may have different rates
* Purchase and sales ledger reconciliations
* Ad hoc project work to support the finance team
You will have excellent IT skills including strong Excel skills (Pivots / Look Ups) as well as SAGE. As you will be liaising with non-finance stakeholders in the business, strong communication skills are a prerequisite.
