Job Description
The successful accounts assistant will be responsible for:
* Reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, supplier statements, and other financial records to ensure accuracy
* Processing supplier invoices and ensuring that payments are made on time
* Processing of credit card transactions and staff expense claims
* Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies
* Maintaining communications and good relationships with customers and suppliers
* Managing accounts email inbox and post
The Successful Applicant
The successful accounts assistant will have:
* Immediately available
* Previous experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel
* Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
* Familiarity with accounting software
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Able to attend the Hemel Hempstead office
