The Vacancy What is the role Demonstrating experience within search engine marketing, and as part of the SEO team, the focus of this role will be to grow organic traffic and revenue. You will be responsible for executing both on-site and off-site optimisation strategies and reporting the results back to the team and wider business. What you will do Grow organic traffic and revenue in line with forecasts and objectives Analyse and improve on-site and off-site SEO performance Carry out regular competitor keyword gap analysis and research to find new opportunity to drive organic strategy Perform regular keyword research in line with business objectives, season, and trends Day-to-day optimisation of categories, sub-categories and campaigns in line with seasonality and key customer trends Blog writing with regular reporting on performance, aligning with trade teams and growing organic traffic Conduct regular technical site audits to monitor crawl errors, page speed, core web vitals, redirects and overall site structure Work closely with the dev team to raise site errors and opportunities ensuring best practice is followed Regular maintenance and fixing of Google Search Console errors Ensure Schema mark-up is regularly looked at and updated in line with best practice Regular XML sitemap audits and optimisations to ensure best practice Ensure the Robots.txt file is maintained across all sites Work with the wider marketing team on link building projects to ensure we secure high quality backlinks Stay ahead of search industry news, insights, and Google algorithm updates What you will bring Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good Excel skills Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Self-motivated and proactive approach to tasks Proven ability to work well within a team and to use own initiative Excellent organisational skills High attention to detail Enthusiasm to succeed Proven SEO experience required – either in-house or agency side Knowledge of SEO best practice to ensure search rankings Ability to confidently report on key performance metrics to managers Ability to self-manage and keep track of multiple projects Confident using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush and other SEO tools Strong understanding of HTML, CSS and Java Script and how they affect SEO Experience copywriting Experience with eCommerce sites PPC knowledge desirable Retail or Fashion experience desirable The Company Yours Clothing is a retailer that provides the best value on the UK high street and internet for curvy customers.
