* The practices are 100% small animals with team support provided at 2 multi-vet sites though some sole charge is required. You will have the opportunity to work alongside their highly experienced nurse team!
* They are a high-end first opinion group with a large proportion of insured clients. They also work closely with the local Cat’s Protection Centre in Harrow.
* Their practices have digital X-rays, dental X-rays, and ultrasound machines with colour flow Doppler.
Role: Our client has an exciting new position for an additional experienced veterinary surgeon to join their established team. You will be responsible for delivering high-standard clinical care while building lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
Hours: Full-time rota is a 40-hour (4-day) week, with 1 in 6 weekends and an additional 6 Saturdays throughout the year. Part-time applicants will be requested to contribute towards the weekend rota.
OOHs: There is no on-call. However, there is an inpatient rota, where the vet provides backup to the nurse on evening checks. Any patient that requires constant monitoring is transported to their OOH provider. Time off in-lieu is available following working the weekend or open for discussion as part of a salary package.
Shifts: Weekdays are 09:00-19:00, Saturdays 09:00-16:00, and Sundays 10:00-16:00.
Daily Duties: The role consists of a mix of both consulting and surgery.
Skills/Exp: The ideal candidate would be at least three years qualified and confident with 15-minute appointments, performing routine consultations and procedures. A willingness to learn is important as active development is encouraged and supported.
Salary: They are offering a competitive salary of up to £70,000 p/a (DOE) - pro-rata for part-time.
