Graduate Health & Safety Advisor required to join for the delivery of a £100m heavy infrastructure project in Portsmouth, Hampshire. Main works are due to commence on site in the coming months. This is a negotiated project for a key client with a good pipeline of future works in the area. Reporting to the visiting Health & Safety Manager and working with a highly experienced site team, you will be responsible for driving Health & Safety within the project through to handover in mid 2026. This Graduate Health & Safety Advisor role will involve regular client liaison, construction methodology, monitoring of health and safety standards, risk assessments, method statements, quality control, identifying and mitigating potential risks, issue resolution and ensuring best practice is followed. This Graduate Health & Safety Advisor role is with a busy Tier 1 South Coast based main contractor group, with a turnover in excess of £600m, and secured workload in the industrial, highways & rail industry across Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset areas. Projects range in size from the smaller £2m up to £100m in value. This is an ideal opportunity for a Graduate Health & Safety advisor looking to grow and develop witihn a contractor. Requirements including certificates and qualifications: You will be recently qualified with a NEBOSH certificate or relevant construction degree.
