Time and opportunity will be provided with the current Head of Year to get to know pupils. The core purpose is to lead on securing the best possible outcomes for pupils in a defined year group and to ensure the highest standards of pastoral care, behaviour, support and guidance is provided. Significant support and training will be provided along with mentorship from a current, experienced postholder. As well as the TLR payment, the post comes with a reduction in timetable to enable effective partnership working with pupils, parents and other stakeholders.
