Job overview
The post holder will play a pivotal role in driving the integration of transformation, strategy and continuous improvement to achieve the Trusts' long-term objectives. Ensuring transformation initiatives are aligned with the Trusts strategic vision, fostering a culture of innovation, by embedding quality improvement methodologies into the core of these initiatives. The postholder is a senior leadership role responsible for oversight and the direction of strategic transformation initiatives across the Trust. The role will focus on the design and implementation of large-scale change programmes that enhance patient care, improve operational efficiency, and ensure the financial sustainability of the Trust. This position will play a critical role in aligning the Trust’s services with the evolving healthcare landscape, including digital transformation, service redesign, and continuous improvement.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will lead comprehensive transformation programmes translating organisational, ICS and NHS objectives into cohesive service delivery from initiation to closure. The role will be pivotal in developing the required organisational capability to enable the Trust to achieve its strategic requirements.
The role will work across the organisation and closely with the Executive and Senior Leadership teams to lead transformation and change, support planning and delivery of the Trusts transformation programmes and associated projects.
The postholder will be responsible for the line management and development of the Trust Project Management Office and Programme Management resources.

Qualifications
* Evidence of leadership and management training and development
* Master's degree or equivalent or previous experience in project management or operational delivery, with proven successful delivery
* Formal qualifications in project or programme management (PRINCE2, MSP)
* Evidence of continuous professional development.
Knowledge/Experience
* Extensive experience in a senior leadership role, ideally within the NHS, healthcare, or a related field
* Proven track record in leading large-scale transformation and change initiatives, including service redesign and operational improvements.
* Experience in managing complex projects and programmes in a large, multi-disciplinary organisation
* Strong understanding of the healthcare environment, NHS policies, and the challenges facing healthcare providers.
