Self Employed Support Assistant for a Young Person - 20 hr/wk @ £15.50/hr in BS10
Apply at UKCIL.com. Reference: d51448d4
Job Description:
I am looking for a self-employed support worker to help me out in the community and at home. I am 22 years old and I love music, dancing, walking, playing board games, swimming, cycling, word search, computer games, and iPad. I am learning the piano and I really enjoy road maps. I am trying to return to a college close to home and enjoy my café job when I can do this. I also have autism, which means that I find communicating with other people difficult and hard to follow on my own. I am good at some social things such as knowing the way everywhere in Bristol, maths, building complicated rail tracks, and trying to be as independent as possible with one-to-one support to assist me.
Applicants, if not already, would receive some basic training too. I’ve worked hard using therapies of PBS (Positive Behaviour Support), and I am now generalising all my skills to natural settings. My mum has supported and managed all my teachings thus far with providers and will be happy to give a handover to you to support me in the activities through my diary week.
