Reed Business Support is currently recruiting for a motivated and forward-thinking Business Development Manager to join their client on a permanent basis, due to rapid growth.
Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager –
* Effectively communicate and visit existing clients, to review their current needs and services being provided. Upselling, and introducing any new packages / products they may require.
* Identify new opportunities and contacts, by networking both in the UK and Overseas.
* A great eye for developing new strategies, specific to the industry, and work with local representatives to implement this.
* Collaborate effectively with local agents.
* Agree commercial terms with new and existing customers, ensuring they comply with company practices and guidelines.
Requirements of the Business Development Manager -
* A minimum of 10+ years’ experience within the sales industry, including a minimum of 5 years in sales/distribution management.
* A proven background of medical device sales / business development.
* Understanding of international business practices.
* A confident character, and able to implement training to local representatives.
* Able to travel across the UK and internationally, holding a valid UK or EU passport.
Benefits of the Business Development Manager role –
* Monday – Friday Full Time, Permanent.
* Salary between £50,000 - £55,000 DOE.
* Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
* Hybrid working (2 Days at home).
* 26 days holiday + bank holidays.
