Mapped Recruitment is delighted to be working with a multi-site retail organisation (150 + stores) on their search for a Payroll Data assistant to join the team on an interim period for circa 9 months (starting in January 2025).
The Interim Payroll Data assistant will support both the Payroll and HR departments in the phase before a new HRIS system implementation
This role has been newly created to support the preparation and cleansing of payroll data before a new HR system is implemented.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the HR and payroll teams to understand data requirements and ensure the data is aligned with the needs of the new system.
* Participate in the system rollout and provide feedback on data-related issues that may arise.
* Provide support and training to HR team members on the new system and data management best practices.
* Support the payroll advisor with payroll queries.
* Support in managing the payroll inbox.
* Supporting stores with queries over the phone and via email.
* Weekly reconciliation of payroll information
* Assist with the monthly calculation and production of payroll for over 1,200 employees
Key Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years experience within a Payroll Data-driven role
* Experience using a variety of systems such as Acccess and Bamboo
* Aptitude to work with high-volume data sets (ideally in a fast-paced environment)
* Strong Excel skills
Successful candidates must be available to start a role at short notice (January 2025) and be looking to commit to a 9 month fixed-term contract.
This role is based in the London Bridge area (hybrid working - 3 days in the office), 9am - 5pm working hours (4 days a week or fully remote will also be considered)
