Your new role
Your new Manchester-based role as a Private Client Tax Manager / Senior Manager will be to help maintain and further capitalise on the continued growth of their existing department in the tax advice field. This team deals with claims pertaining to a broad range of projects for HNWIs, entrepreneurs, and private business owners, including IHT planning and use of IHT efficient structures, complex capital gains tax transactions, the use of trusts, and the UK tax implications for non-UK residents/domiciles. This role will involve preparing and delivering a variety of tax advisory assignments. You will manage projects and other firm staff on behalf of your clients, overseeing these projects from a process and client relationship perspective.
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this Manchester-based job opportunity as a Private Client Tax Manager / Senior Manager, you will need to be CTA and/or ACA qualified and have a proven track record in the field (minimum 4–5 years), having worked in a similar capacity in an accountancy practice or out in industry. You will need a highly developed understanding of tax advice, with experience dealing with a variety of clients. You will have a keen eye for spotting opportunities for your new client base and selling wider firm services when possible. The ability to convey messages in layperson terms to clients and manage their expectations of timelines and projected rebate returns is essential.
