We are looking for someone who has worked in a parking background and has proven skills and knowledge dealing with all parking related matters. Importantly, this role will be the policy writer for all Traffic Regulation changes, and the candidate will have a sound understanding of this function and the ability to work through all changes to on- and off-street parking regulations. The Candidate must be able to oversee the department when required and offer guidance and support to all staff within the team. The role will be very varied, and the successful candidate must be able to perform various tasks simultaneously. The Civil Enforcement team helps the District Council meet the demands of the Traffic Management Act 2004. As a senior role within the department, the Senior Parking and Policy Engineer will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the department. Knowledge and understanding of contract management and budgets is essential. Candidates must hold a clean driving licence as the role requires regular site visits around the district.
