Brain Injury Support Worker (LIBERTATEM)
This is a great opportunity for a female support worker to join the Libertatem Healthcare Group and work with a client in Daventry, Northamptonshire. The role involves providing support to a non-verbal client with cerebral palsy and epilepsy, including duties such as pad changing, seizure management, and general household tasks.
Main Duties of the Job
As a Brain Injury Support Worker, you will be responsible for engaging with the client's personalized routines, completing daily living activities, administering medication, providing emotional support, and maintaining accurate records. You will need to have previous experience in a similar role, be able to deal with challenging behaviors, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
* Engaging with personalized routines inclusive of hoists.
* Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
* Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
* Providing emotional support and companionship.
* Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.
* Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.

* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.

Training & Background Checks:
