Area Manager Haverfordwest 38 Hours What you will be doing Ensuring support services are well managed, safe and enable people to have choice and control over their lives Undertake the role and responsibilities of a Registered Manager with Social Care Wales, ensuring services remain compliant. Provide guidance and support to managers and colleagues Carry out audits, compile reports and action plans Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and external agencies. Manage and Monitor budgets What you will need Experience in managing care services Knowledge of legislation NVQ 4/QCF5 in Health and Social Care or the ability and willingness to gain the equivalent qualification under the QCF within agreed timescales Relevant management qualification e.g. ILM 5 in Management or equivalent NVQ Assessors and Verifiers Award or TAQA award (Training, Assessment, Quality & Assurance Awards) At least 2 years’ experience of working with people with learning disabilities and/or with people with other support needs in a paid or voluntary capacity Our Mission To build a better future by focussing on people with learning disabilities and their families in Wales.
