Our leading Property client is seeking a proven and motivated Estates Manager to oversee a beautiful development.
You will be tasked with overseeing the safety and maintenance of designated development and ensuring that these properties follow all applicable regulations. Recommending and coordinating improvements to the property as needed to ensure a safe, functional, and appealing space.
Salary: £19,929.26 - basic - including 2 bed apartment (all bills included)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week (8:00AM-4:30PM)
Parking: On site

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Liaise with contractors for the effective management of work and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
2. Log contractors attending site on Estate related business. Escort contractors and building suppliers to the required locations. Verify work has been completed as required.
3. Drafting and updating emergency plans and evacuation procedures.
4. Overseeing security, fire prevention, and other safety systems.
5. Scheduling regular building maintenance and janitorial services.
6. Contracting professionals for repairs as needed.
7. Ensuring that occupants are provided with proper utilities.
8. Scheduling contractors and employees.
9. Resolving complaints, problems, and requests from building tenants.
10. Assisting with emergency response and evacuations.
11. Maintaining records of tenants.
12. Inspecting the building frequently for signs of damage or wear.
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Proven Estates manager experience - ideally on a large residential development.
2. Confidence and discretion to be used with high profile residents.
3. Professional, precise, courteous and dedicated.
4. Sharp eye for detail.
5. Passion for delivering outstanding service.
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. Able to multi-task and still deliver a top quality service.
8. Critical Thinking & Problem Solving ability.
9. Experience of maintaining large grounds (approx. 27 acres). Mixture of grass, mature hedges and trees.
10. Experience of handyman skills and maintenance would be useful.
11. Self-starter who is organised and can work without supervision.
12. Able to communicate via email and maintain records (via Excel & Word documents).
