This successful and established Accountancy Practice is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join their busy team based in Altrincham on a full-time basis. Your new role
As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing the accounting service delivery for the office, ensuring that workflow is delivered promptly by the team, liaising with the Tax Department, and ensuring billing targets are met and efficiencies are monitored. Key responsibilities include managing a team to deliver accountancy services, overseeing a portfolio of clients, tracking job progress and meeting WIP/billing targets, and monitoring deadlines. You will also be preparing and/or reviewing accounts for limited companies, preparing and/or reviewing corporation tax computations and returns, building positive working relationships with clients and the practice, ensuring compliance with all financial regulations, and using software including IRIS, Sage, Xero, Quickbooks, and Microsoft Office.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with at least 5 years of post-qualified experience in a practice environment. You should have exceptional interpersonal skills, excellent reporting skills, and the ability to offer recommendations and advice to clients. Strong commercial acumen and a solid grasp of business aims and objectives are essential.
