The London Dungeon and Shrek’s Adventure London are currently recruiting for Admissions Hosts to join our outgoing, self-motivated, sales and customer service focused team as we gear up for the busy peak season. Working across both landmark attractions you will be interacting with our guests either on their journey to Far, Far Away to find Shrek or on their way to Traitors Gate to have their heads chopped off (just a little different ‘ey). About the role Operating from the busy heart of London’s South Bank you will be advertising our exciting attractions to potential visitors who pass by our front steps. You will certainly need to be vocal about our offers You will have the opportunity to tailor a guests’ perfect visit to Merlin’s London tourist attractions, ensuring they have a memorable and rewarding experience. Not only this but you will be batching groups of excited guests into our shows, looking after queue lines, and ensuring the flow into the attractions runs as smoothly as possible. You will be the face of the attractions and our guests first point of contact so you will have the opportunity to interact, entertain and create magic memories, all whilst providing the very best customer service. This is a 6 month fixed-term role to help support with our peak period with a minimum of 25 guaranteed hours per week for grabs. Our attractions are open daily so full availability is needed, and you’ll be expected to work your fair share of weekdays, weekends and peak season/school holiday dates too. You’ll be used to working in a high-pressure environment, preferably from within the entertainments industry, but wherever your previous experience lies full training will be given. You’ll understand the importance of exceeding KPIs and targets, and driving revenue through utilising excellent sales skills, as well as making sure that you are working within health, safety, and standard operating procedures at all times.
