About the role: The main purpose of the role is to provide oversight and assurance for the management of fatigue levels in the production and resourcing of rosters and produce efficient rosters that meet the needs of the business and safely manage fatigue, whilst ensuring the rostering practices are line with documented fatigue procedures and industry guidelines. Key responsibilities include: Work with the resource coordinators, planners, functional managers, Trade Union representatives to ensure diagram structures and rosters are in line with EMR’s fatigue standard. Deliver regular assurance checks on rosters to ensure the risk of fatigue is minimised Develop and embed resourcing, planning and rostering processes that effectively manage fatigue levels and reduce fatigue risk across the business Provide administrative support for the fatigue work to ensure all records are maintained and document control managed Support the Resource Strategy Manager in the delivery of the fatigue strategy Ensure the functional managers are briefed on rostering practises and fatigue management Maintain the suite of fatigue KPIs and ensure areas of risk are escalated Provide accurate and timely fatigue data and information to the functional managers to enable them to effectively manage fatigue Support the resourcing process for timetable changes to ensure that changes to diagrams, links and rosters are in line with fatigue standards Act as a fatigue ambassador and conduct engagement activity to continue maintain a strong profile for the fatigue strategy Support the Resource Strategy Manager to develop a robust process for fatigue management of EMRs workforce About you: Knowledge & understanding of rostering principles. IT Proficient with a good understanding and experience of Microsoft excel. Analytical capability to collate, read and interpret KPI data and identify the key themes, including an overview of risks and opportunities. Ability to effectively communicate well at all levels. Understanding of industry recognised rostering systems or computer literate, with the ability to pick up systems quickly. Ability to engage and influence stake holders at all levels. Ability to hold/obtain and maintain contingency competencies for on train duties in line with the company dispute contingency plan.
